Here is what you are going to learn:
* The Strong yet Soft classic Egyptian Shimmy
* How to expertly control your shimmy speed (from Turtle all the way to Rabbit speed) plus how to mirror your shimmy speed to the music's rhythms
* Unique Egyptian Accents – How to recognise and do them!
* Recognizing the rhythms of the music and how to express its momentum with your hips
* Plus a short combination to take home with you to practise anytime you feel Egyptian

Undulations are one of the moves that separates Belly Dance from all other dance forms and has many health benefits, besides being fun and looking good!
Develop technique for soft, smooth and strong bellywork. We'll work on rolling undulations downwards and upwards, focusing on fluidity and proper alignment. Simple belly pops and rolls will be introduced, and we'll learn a bellywork combination.

This is a casual gathering at the studio featuring student solo performances. Cabaret 101 gives students a excellent performance opportunity. There is nothing like the practical experience of pulling a piece together and dancing in front of an audience! All belly dance students are welcome to attend with friends. 3. Professionalism - learn when to show your skills and take the stage and when to support another musician when it is their time to take the stage
4. Short Drum Solos (ARBA AT OR 4 MEASURE SOLO) Learn small solos from with in the song where a drummer creates excitement
5. Syncopations - Learn when to use ornamentations and when to provide a strong rhythm for the musicians to follow
